ABSTRACT
ABIDO BACHA The last century, a hundred years of enormous change, has come to a close with a
formidable revolution in computer science. Yet its effects have not meant the death
of theatre at the end of the century, any more than did the threat of cinema at its
beginning. Theatre is just as strong, and it persists in proving its own power before
being influenced by any other form of expression.
