ABSTRACT
In addition to the bioethical reactions to gene doping are arguments that rely upon some ethical view of sport and what is legitimate within specific sporting practices. It remains to be seen how the genetic modification case responds to a number of the sporting arguments against doping raised in Chapter 1. Yet many of these arguments are not relevant to the genetics case, for two reasons.
