ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the creating of art experiences, specifically a type of art experience called art making. However, before beginning, it is necessary to lay the groundwork exploring the idea of the process, exposing some inefficient teaching practices, and looking at the role of the adult in children’s artistic development.
