ABSTRACT
One of the surest ways we locate ourselves in the geopolitical world is through the signs we see here and there about us in city streets, marking road regulations alongside the highway, and labelling consumer products. The snapshot of a city street in 6.01 may not tell us exactly which city we are in but we are likely to make an immediate assumption that we are somewhere in an English-speaking community.
