ABSTRACT
One of the most traditional events in Rugby Sevens takes place in Punta del Este, Uruguay, organized by The British Schools Old Boys Club from Montevideo, Uruguay. During the tournaments of 1996 and 1997 (this tournament being a qualifying round for the Hong Kong World Cup), we developed a kinanthropometric project (SEASIDE UKP: Seven-a-Side Uruguayan Kinanthropometric Project), in order to assess the anthropometric characteristics of players involved in this rugby speciality.
