ABSTRACT
One characteristic feature of the scientific creativity of Ya.B.Zeldovich is the extremely broad range of questions on which he has worked and is now working. He is the anthor of a substantial number of both experimental and theoretical publications devoted to the phenomena of adsorption, chemical kinetics, the theory of combustion and detonation, gas dynamics, and nuclear physics.
