ABSTRACT
This final chapter, prior to an overall theoretical and interpretive discussion and debate, summarizes the core themes of the analysis presented in the preceding chapters. This is not to tell a linear story of institutional growth, but to seek recurrent patterns and trajectories that reveal the scale and operational reach of FIFA as an organization at different points in its history; a reach that has had political, economic and cultural consequences and significance in and across an increasingly globalizing world.
