ABSTRACT
The principal sources of pressures in the job are staff, pupils, parents, governors, inspectors and government. And for some, the LEA may be added to the list. Little is to be gained by listing again more detail of these. Our purpose at this stage is to see which of these sources of pressure are most susceptible to reduction and how that might be achieved.
