These are the most complex and demanding of the published Standards. Teaching draws together all the various skills learnt during training.To teach effectively teachers need to synthesise curriculum knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, knowledge of learners and contexts for learning.They need to integrate this knowledge with their understanding of the way in which the school functions as a community and how it relates to other communities.
