Burials Introductory overview This section augments Chapter 7, which presents the bioarchaeology of the skeletons recovered from the Tutu site. Discussed briefly below are differences between burials of the early and late occupations at Tutu, in terms of age at death, orientation of skeletons, burial pit attributes and distribution of burials on the site.
