ABSTRACT

The emphasis in Session 2 is to move quickly from a discussion of sources of stress to ways of dealing with stress. First however, we need to discover what the students’ Stress Awareness Diaries revealed. They may prefer to discuss this in an abstract way rather than to show what they wrote. It is best to break the students into groups of four for the discussion and then have them report back to the group as a whole. As with all the sessions, this one is timed very tightly and begins and ends with breathing and stretching exercises.
