ABSTRACT
In common with countless other students I have an assigned piece of writing to complete, some research to undertake. For weeks I have procrastinated (at times even the ironing seemed an attractive proposition), but the deadline for completion draws sickeningly close. It is not that I suffer a dearth of ideas for potential areas to investigate; if anything quite the reverse. It is not that I dislike writing. In fact writing is an activity I engage in constantly for all sorts of reasons, usually with great pleasure.
