ABSTRACT
This chapter mainly aims to present and to analyse the policies adopted by the Brazilian government to promote technological innovation in the construction sector. Knowing there is a great demand for building construction and especially for housing, the main investments oriented to innovation have preferably been accomplished in the latter and, for that reason, it will be the analysis and consideration focus in the present work.
