ABSTRACT
The patients whom the nurses indicated they did not enjoy looking after fell into two main groups.There were those who indicated that they were not happy to be in the ward, or with what was being done for them, by grumbling and complaining or otherwise demanding attention. In the second group were those whom the nurses felt did not need to be in hospital, or should not be in that particular ward, and whose personalities did not outweigh this judgement.
