ABSTRACT
It is noteworthy that a small percentage of the sample reported that they did not enjoy the health visitor visits and two respondents even went so far as to say that the visit had a bad effect on them.The notion that visits from a health visitor may have a harmful or ‘bad effect’ on some older people is seldom addressed when contemplating routine visiting of the elderly.
