ABSTRACT

Panero, Leopoldo María (b. 1948), Spanish poet. The ways in which a given author’s sexual orientation find their way into his or her work are not predictable. Homoeroticism, camp or insistent representation of homosexuality are typical ways in which this happens, but they are by no means the only possibilities. Something in the writing of Leopoldo María Panero is closely related to his sexuality, and yet the articulation between the former and the latter is by no means easy to define.
