ABSTRACT
I started this book talking of airheads and of being brain-dead. Having looked at much serious research, I now want to playfully explore a few ‘wild’ ideas. The ideas may well be wrong but might also provoke some thoughts. In this chapter I’m going to look at:
• information bombardment and children
• the influence of television, computers and computer games
• are children getting smarter?
