ABSTRACT
This case shows how a network can provide a context for inter-organisational learning and for capturing learning by using effects. Extending the analysis of networks in Chapter 3, it also shows how information gathering, processing, and storing activities supported technological adaptation. Further, it highlights the importance of staff capabilities and the value of establishing inter-firm links at many organisational levels.
