ABSTRACT

This octavo pamphlet is Edward White’s second of 1579. It was entered in the Stationers’ Register on 15 April, and printed by the same printer, John Kingston, as A Rehearsall both straung and true. Possibly it was prepared and prefaced by the same pamphleteer – his style, and especially the use of the word ‘driftes’ is reminiscent of the Windsor pamphlet.
