Networking People and Computers

Introduction This chapter deals with some of the issues arising from the idea of networking, in a technical sense, with computers and, in a social sense, with people. Schools no longer think of buying computers as stand-alone systems, but as networks of machines which can have a variety of links and connections to each other.
