Introduction
This chapter is again about getting it right for both boys and girls. Setting affects the learning and self-esteem of both. What is disturbing is that so many bottom sets contain a disproportionate number of boys, and also pupils from some minority ethnic groups. Just take a look at any English and modern foreign languages sets. Look at your own school.
