ABSTRACT

In this chapter we have set out the ten clusters and within each five examples of individual indicators. These should be seen as illustrative rather than as comprehensive or exhaustive. For each of the five indicators, we have suggested some sources of evidence that might be gathered, both quantitative and qualitative. These, again, are suggested as illustrative examples only and we would encourage schools to think of their own sources. There is inevitably some repetition but we have assumed that a school undertaking the exercise will proceed in only one or two areas and therefore each cluster is self-contained.
