ABSTRACT
V-Ray has a wonderful set of tools to utilize so that you can enter real-world values in the form of downloadable files from lighting manufacturers’ websites. These files are known as IES files.
These IES lighting files are a standard lighting format con taining what is known as photometric data. IES or Illuminating Engineering Society is the file extension we will be using for our exercise scene. We use these files to make sure the artificial lights in our scene are physically accurate.
