ABSTRACT
This section has been written in general terms to cover poor performance from any of the employees of a school: teachers, classroom assistants, clerical, technical or caretaking staff. Schools should have procedures for providing help to any poor performers. While these may be codified in professional support procedures for teachers, similar principles should be applied to other employees; thus, the suggestions contained in this section should be of help in dealing with any poor performer.
