ABSTRACT
Whenever human beings meet and begin to interact many curious things take place. The phenomenon of basic interpersonal interaction involves sets of rules and rituals. We had to learn these as a key aspect of growing up and getting on with other people. It behoves us all, but especially anyone who makes his or her living as a teacher, to observe these patterns with care.
