Learning from one’s own practice experience

Learning from own experience requires careful examination and reflection on one’s own groups: on the planning decisions which were made, on events arising in a group and how they were (or could be) understood, and on one’s own contributions and their consequences. Such reflections can usefully be undertaken at a number of points in the course of one’s work with groups.
