ABSTRACT

The description of the Sabbath, which occurs in various lands, seems to be somewhat diverse. The variety of the places where it is held, the master who presides over it, all diverse and variable, and the unpredictable moods of those who are called to it, create the diversity. But, taking everything into consideration, the main and the most important, most serious ceremonies are all consistent. This is why I will recount what we have learned from our proceedings, and will state simply what some notable sorcerers have put before us, without changing anything or altering their depositions, so that each person may take from it what he pleases.
