ABSTRACT
Thus far, we have examined a comprehensive range of possible methods to bring down demands for energy in a building. Now we turn to low carbon electricity generation, either to satisfy some or all of the remaining demand, or to sell on. If the reader has skipped ahead, they may have found, in the Conclusion, evidence for why sometimes installing renewable electricity-generating equipment is not the most carbon-effective of options. Nevertheless, for various reasons, such as providing an income stream, it can be very attractive for a company to install their own renewable electricity generation.
