ABSTRACT
In this chapter the various themes and arguments developed throughout the book as a whole are brought together in articulating the case for a comprehensive reconceptualisation of the field of comparative and international education. The case builds upon the rationale outlined in Chapter 1, our review of the history and evolution of the field, the analyses of theoretical and methodological challenges, and our awareness of contemporary issues, priorities and research problems as discussed in Chapters 3 to 6.
