ABSTRACT
Because global education is in its infancy, there are very few evaluation studies of the effects of this kind of programme on students. However, research on the value of technology-mediated courses delivered to distance learners is well developed and it is possible to extrapolate from observations and recommendations in this body of literature some of the issues which apply to global distance learners.
