Early Years

For Edmund Burke, good order was the foundation of all things. In education, the bedrock of later achievement is provision for pupils in the early years. Recognising the importance of nursery education the previous Conservative government, and subsequently the Labour government elected in 1997, promised a free nursery place for every child of 4 years old whose parents wish it.
