Take the story of The Bear Hunt and write down some ideas about how you might use the story as basis for a short drama with primary-aged pupils, and if you want to be really adventurous, secondary-aged students, and even more adventurous, adults. Think about how you might make The Bear Hunt suitable for secondary-aged and adult actors. What are the elements of a story that you think might appeal to secondary-aged students and adults? Can you elevate these in the story? Is there any language in The Bear Hunt that you think might be a bit too childish for those over the age of eleven? Can you transpose more adult words?
