ABSTRACT
The term ‘personality’ is widely used both in psychology and in everyday speech and, like most terms that have such dual usage, it does not mean quite the same thing in each context. Psychologists interested in this subject want to know what makes someone a unique person. What are the characteristic ways in which she behaves? What is the overall pattern of how she relates to other people and how they react to her?
