ABSTRACT

Since the first edition of Dangerous Sexualities was published there has been an everexpanding literature on the histories of sexuality. This bibliographical essay is selective, providing the reader with a guide to this proliferating field of research and scholarship. The bibliography is structured around the major themes covered in the first edition and follows the sections of the book. Suggestions for further reading are generally confined to works focused on Britain and its imperial relations, except in the case of sources for AIDS and the HIV virus where the coverage is more international.
