ABSTRACT
Bills a first time, and receiving reports on such Bills. These Orders are distinguished from Standing Orders by being only in force for the Session in which they are adopted, whereas Standing Orders remain in force until suspended or repealed by vote of the House. As procedure in private business has often been enlarged or restrained by resolutions, it is necessary to take note of them here, although they do not necessarily come under the head of either Standing or Sessional Orders.
