Women's Rights and the Mexican-American Woman *

Because the basis of discrimination is the same for sex, race or national origin the same political, psychological and economic issues must be considered by the Mexican-American woman as are being considered by her Black and Anglo counterparts. Beyond these basic considerations, there are distinct issues peculiar to the Mexican-American woman which must be resolved or clarified in the process of pursuing her rights as a woman or perhaps even before she feels she is able to pursue her rights as a woman.
