ABSTRACT
Gregory (1898–1982) contributed poetry to Vanity Fair and The Nationduring the early 1920's, taught poetry and classical literature at Sarah Lawrence College in New York City for many years, did translations of Ovid and Catullus, made frequent contributions to literary periodicals, and wrote books on Amy Lowell and D.H.Lawrence.
