ABSTRACT
In Chapter 3, we examined a truth-functional analysis of the PrP in which the auxiliary is a sentential operator (Have) that scopes a context-free pasttense sentence. The truth of the resulting proposition is evaluated for the present interval. For example, (5.1) is represented as in (5.2):
