This position is the final one in the sense that you are presented with an “outcome” of this much of Dax’s story. The audio-visual material that is presented to you depends on your final position.

The Archives

The Archives section of the program allows you to move independently through the case narrative and all the audio-visual material. In the Archives, you may read more details about the case chronology, access the key individuals involved in the case, approach the issues in an open-ended fashion, and note this case’s similarity and difference with other famous “right to die” cases (such as Karen Anne Quinlan’s case) (Figure 9).
