ABSTRACT

Studies on the entry into the labor market (e.g., Osterman, 1980; Silberman, 1982), as well as studies on the failure to enter the labor market (e.g., Frese & Mohr, 1978; Fryer & Payne, 1986; O'Brien, 1986), point out that the transition from school to work influences the social integration of young people. Nowadays, this transition is problematic as demonstrated by the high rate of youth unemployment.
