ABSTRACT
The importance of certified occupational therapy assistants (as sistants) to the practice of occupational therapy in adult psychiatry is immeasurable. The assistants ensure that occupational therapy
treatment plans are implemented accurately, that students and aides receive feedback about their daily performance, and that the occu pational therapy clinical area is operated in a systematic and effec tive manner.
