For quite some time, there has been considerable interest in the relationship between cerebral dominance and cognitive functions (Allen, 1983; Beaton, 1986). Of particular interest has been the strong relation between the left hemisphere and language processing; however, later studies revealed that the right hemisphere was also dominant for a variety of cognitive and perceptual functions (Levy, 1982; Searleman, 1977).
