ABSTRACT
The phenomenon of collocation is not restricted to one single syntactic category. One finds collocational fixed combinations of nouns with nouns, of nouns and adjectives, adjectives and prepositions, verbs and prepositions, verbs and adverbs, adverbs and prepositions, verbs and nouns, adverbs and adverbs, etc.
