ABSTRACT
Throughout this text, we have covered many issues which relate to the broad topic of human impacts on coasts and estuaries. The intention of this book is that it should be considered not as a comprehensive guide to all impacts and their effects on coasts and estuaries, but more as a source for informing students of the sorts of problems, and their diversity, which face the coastal manager.
