ABSTRACT
In Chapter 7 we outlined a number of issues that are fundamental to cognitive education and drew attention to several training procedures that have focused on teaching students to act strategically. In addition, we summarised several general models that facilitate students' awareness of their cognitive activities (e.g. reciprocal teaching, peer tutoring).
