ABSTRACT
The subject of postmodernism is a vast one, to which this section provides only the most rudimentary indicative guide. Suggestions for further reading will be found in the bibliography (see 3 Postmodern and structuralist readings); what is provided here is intended to give the reader some basic currency in the field. The first part of the chapter looks at theory; 1 the second part resumes consideration of Psalm 29, applying the remaining two of the seven aspects which comprise the framework for reading the Psalms.
