Meet the crew – a beginner’s guide to the staff room

When you fi rst arrive in a staff room, it can be a daunting place. Some teachers can be territorial over mugs and chairs; recently a new staff member at college asked me how the coat pegs worked and whether people had designated pegs. Thankfully we are not that kind of staff room!
