ABSTRACT
In the preceding essays on sexuality and suffocation some relatively clear aspects of the mother and maiden in the myth of hysteria were touched upon. Other aspects of this same myth are less clearly represented, though by no means less important. Indeed, in the light of discussion, it may prove that they will be judged the more important.
