ABSTRACT
A marked increase in the number of women on the labour market, alterations to the law, positive actions; the whole field of women and work is in a flux, which is also reflected in the research that has assumed enormous proportions. The subjects are diverse and the separate fields of study widely branched out. A study of man-woman communication on the workfloor in itself would be well worth writing an article about. Therefore, a chapter on “women and work” cannot be anything more than a rather limited selection of research results.
