ABSTRACT
In this chapter readers will have the opportunity to learn how to achieve these objectives. They will be empowered to identify their needs, ambitions and skills, as well as review their present position and their strengths and training needs. They will be asked to consider their short-and long-term career goals, and which skills need to be developed to achieve them. And they will be asked to complete a practical exercise to identify the factors involved in applying for a promotional post which includes new directions, more responsibilities and financial improvement.
